Somehow I have persuaded my good friend Daniel to join in on the Epic fun. Daniel has had most armies for Epic over the years and like me he has more or less only played Epic Armageddon. But when prompted with pictures of illustriously coloured old miniatures from the hey days of the red circus and a promise of gaming in the future, I guess he simply couldn’t say no.

Daniel does not blog on his own, so I have taken upon myself to do it for him here on this blog, so that his hardships may contribute and be displayed along with the rest of us.

Furios batle at Golgotha Prime in Ancient Times

In communion we decided that since I am loosely basing my Ork armylist on The Battle for Golgotha Prime (White Dwarf 154) he would do the same for the Squats. It turned out that he had almost everything already, barring a couple of baneblades (which he promptly bought! Speak of dedication!) and commisar Yarrick.

I have not really considered the special characters in NetEpic Gold. Reading the proposed Yarrick and Ghazghkull they are actually not even eligible for the 4k armies we’re making. I think in the end I will just play them as a commisar and a warboss.

It looks like Daniel is in for a slightly shorter run than the reset of us with about 75 models to paint. Let’s see how it all goes!!!
