The battle is more or less between Alex, Wacht and Martin now. I think Julien could be a dark horse, as he’s made bursts of painting in the past, but potentially he’s just a pink llama with blue dots. We don’t know yet.

Some of you might find discrepancies between what you have reported and what I have typed up. You are always perfectly welcome to lament about this via electronic mail. I am a one-man operation for the data logging, and there’s quite a few moving parts!

Bingo goals highlights

I was delighted to see that a few of our USAnian folks had made a common effort to clear some bingo goals: Playing with challenge models in the Uluru campaign. In the general bleak fog of everyday survival it brings me great joy to think about that the work we do here could result in getting folks together and having a cool day like this. I am of course not presumptuous, so I assume they would have made it either way, but still it makes me happy.

I would be remiss if I didn’t also include another personal highlihgt:

Martin paitned 30 models worth of tyranids, with faction terrain and butorg fields to boot! Now, of course, painting 30 models is not new, but I want to applaude the combination of quality and quantity here. That’s a rare thing! Also for all of you, I feel a little sorry that you’re going to be stuck with red fields of sci-fi crop in the future.

We had a couple of special characters made this month also, which bring our total to just about enough to warrant a small booklet! Yay!
