Army Pitches

 

 

First up the contestants made a list of 4000 points using the NetEpic Gold rules. 

 

Dr. The Viking (me) chose the Orks and quickly amassed the following force:

 

Waaagh Ghazghkull

I went for a bit of everything and then some… basing it roughly on the Ghazghkull army from the Battle for Golgotha Prime.

Daniel went with the Squat of Golgotha Prime to fit my Orks. Very cool!

Read it all here: 1stlegion Chronicles     Lastly TF Riley also went with an Ork waaaaaagh!          Thomas is a bit of an old rat in Epic and has multiple armies in store.    Here you can follow his thoughts on the project: TF Rileys Orks     April – The first dabbles in paint!   Having arranged all this on the background of falling back in love with Epic, I had a bit of a head start and actually managed to finish two clans for april! I knocked out 1150 pts this way:   The Goff Clan in all its splendour! The thievin’ Death Skullz set out to rob!        Uncle Jonas was right on my heels though and finished quite a bit too in the form of a Blood Angels Tactical company worth 750 pts:   Blood Angels Tactical Company.   I think we’re off to a really good start and I can’t wait to see what the month of May will bring to the challenge.

The month of May came and passed. A nice run for myself.

I managed to finish both a Kult of Speed, a Mekboy Gargant, some stompas and a few shokk attacks.

So this month a miracle 3 of the 5 participants managed to finish something! It would have been 4 if I hadn’t botched my own stuff… I wanted to slow my pace a bit, but seem to accidentally have stalled completely between Åcon, webpage and real life. However, since it is mainly a question of photography, I will be up and running soon.

So let’s start out with Jonas. He seems to have gone all tankhead this month and has finished 7 tanks, including a medic rhino! Very nice Jonas. I think he may he veered a bit of the schedule with some of it, but after all it is all about painting, right?

Lastly TF Riley is joining us for the first time. He has finished a lot of Ork vehicles in classy classic red livery! It warms my Ork heart to see such splendour with a Skullhamma, a Gibligrinda, Bowelburnas and even Gobsmashas! Way to go TF Riley!
