It is time to dust off your classic metal miniatures, break out those green base edges, and get ready for a full day of pure 90s tabletop fun!
On Saturday, January 16th, we are opening the doors to Shellshock: a Warhammer 40k 2nd Edition gaming day at Tornbjerg Gymnasium in Odense from 10:00 to 18:00.
This is absolutely NOT a tournament. There are no trophies, no point scoring, no prizes, and no overall winner being crowned. The day is purely about building cool, thematic army lists that are fun to play with—and just as importantly, fun for your opponent to play against.
We expect to get through 2 games during the day. Playing 2nd edition takes time! 😉 Feel free to brush up on the rules beforehand.
Date & Time: Saturday, January 16th | 10:00 – 18:00
Location: Tornbjerg Gymnasium, Odense
Capacity: Max 12 players (first-come, first-served)
Price: 200 DKK per participant (Goes directly towards room rental, printed mission cards, and period-accurate 3D-printed terrain from Doctor Spork for the tables)
Rules & Army Building
Army Size: 1500 points.
Painting: All armies must be 100% fully painted.
Ruleset: We play using the original physical rulebooks as well as 2ed1993.com.
Pairings: Everyone will be paired up in advance for Game 1 based on geography. After that, subsequent games can be set up freely among players.
What to Bring
I will provide terrain for all 6 tables but you need to bring all your own gear:
Your painted 1500 pt army & army list (feel free to use the New Recruit app or website)
Original rulebooks / reference sheets
Tokens and templates
Specialty dice if you have them (Scatter dice, Sustained Fire dice, etc.)

Your registration is valid once 200 DKK has been paid to the box. If you would like an event T-shirt (based on the logo more or less), please add an additional 150 DKK and state your size in your registration. Non-refundable.
