We have been blessed by yet another report for the Global Cowabunga Campaign ! This time it is Ben and his friend Colin who have been pitting the Eldar and the Orks against each other in Genetic Park.

Hi drtheviking, my friend Colin (Bad Moons Orks) and I (Alaitoc Eldar) played scenario 2: welcome to Genetic Park, set in a rocky mountainous area of Genetic Park.  The Orks were out early hunting for valuable scrap before any of the giant monsters started thundering around, whereas the Eldar were seeking to keep dangerous genetic technology from falling into evil hands.

Ahead of the main Eldar force, the famed Alaitoc Scouts crept towards the advancing Orks, determined to capture the two furthest pieces of archaeotech in the fortified control bunkers.

However they had underestimated the speed and savagery of the Orks,  who with a roar of “Waaaagh!” raced up to despatch the Scouts and capture both those objectives and a third in the shattered Eldar Ruin.  While the Eldar War Walkers and Vyper Jetbike concentrated on manifesting the doom predicted for the Lootas opposite, the Aspect Warriors stepped forward and bravely sold their lives.  This sacrifice kept the Orks from penetrating further into the Eldar lines, leaving the Farseer in possession of just one of the pieces of potentially precious technology.

IN reply, a host of jetbikes shrieked in from one flank, scything down Boyz and Flash Gitz alike, and swept down to seize two of the artefacts.  The remaining guardians destroyed the second of the three large Boyz mobs.  And the conclave of Eldar psykers stepped forward and, with a devastating mental and physical psychic assault, toppled the Ork Warboss.  It was starting to look like the Orks were trapped!

The Big Mek bellowed at the remaining Boyz to grab the piece of loot they had and get back to their camp.  He chuckled to himself as he realised that not only did he have the one real piece of valuable archaeotech, he was now in charge of the whole horde!  It was just a shame the horde was quite a bit smaller than it had been earlier that morning…
