So I fell in the big puddle of Texas War of Revolution / Zorro stuff that Boot Hill Miniatures has been offering for years.

 I got these miniatures by the owner a couple of years ago but never got around to painting them.

 The miniatures are highly detailed and very nicely scultped. Some of the best I’ve painted for long… but beating toy dinosaurs and the like is maybe not that hard.

 It feels nice painting metal miniatures again. They can say what they want but metal is just better than plastic in my opinion. I don’t know how, but there’s just a different feel to painting it .

 These two baddies are my favourites – full of character!!!

 There’s a mounted version of both the sargento and the captain too. I hate painting horses though!
